Ranchi, Dec. 18 -- The Jharkhand High Court on Thursday heard a petition filed by Chief Minister Hemant Soren challenging the cognizance taken by the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Ranchi Civil Court, in a complaint case instituted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
During the hearing, counsel appearing on behalf of Chief Minister Hemant Soren sought time from the court to file certain necessary documents related to the matter.
Accepting the request, the High Court granted time and fixed January 15, 2026, as the next date of hearing.
