Ranchi, Dec. 14 -- The path has been cleared for promotion of Jharkhand-cadre IAS officer Vandana Dadel and Principal Secretary of the Drinking Water Department Mast Ram Meena to the rank of Chief Secretary (CS).
The state government has given its consent on the related proposal, and Vandana Dadel will receive the benefit of the promotion with effect from January 1, 2026. Formal orders in this regard are expected to be issued soon. Both officers belong to the 1996 batch, and their elevation is expected to bring significant changes in the state's administrative structure.
