Ranchi, Nov. 5 -- In the aftermath of the destruction caused by Cyclone Montha, the Jharkhand government has initiated an extensive assessment to determine the extent of crop damage across the state.
The Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Cooperation has issued directives to all district commissioners to compile detailed reports on the losses.
Officials have been instructed to visit villages and fields to conduct a ground-level evaluation of the damage. The report will include the scale of crop destruction and the estimated financial loss suffered by farmers.
