Ranchi, Dec. 3 -- Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday paid solemn tributes to India's first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad on his birth anniversary and to heroic son, Param Vir Chakra awardee Lance Naik Albert Ekka, on his martyrdom day.
At Raj Bhavan, Governor Gangwar offered floral tributes before the portraits of Dr. Rajendra Prasad and Albert Ekka, recalling their invaluable contribution to the nation. He honoured both national icons by garlanding their photographs and observing a moment of reverence.
