Ranchi, Nov. 18 -- The Jharkhand Education Department will begin the second round of the Teacher Need Assessment (TNA) from Nov 18. Unlike the first phase held in August, this round places greater emphasis on accountability, structured evaluation, and real-time monitoring.

Education Secretary Uma Shankar Singh said the TNA has been strategically linked with the Continuous Capacity and Professional Development (CCPD) programme to identify specific training gaps among teachers. "The goal is to make professional development more need-based and outcome-driven," Singh added.
