Ranchi, Oct. 8 -- Concerned over recurring reports of delays and mismanagement in the 108 ambulance service across Jharkhand, Additional Chief Secretary of Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, Ajay Kumar Singh convened an emergency meeting today to review the situation.
During the meeting, Singh reprimanded the service provider, Samman Foundation, for its poor performance and directed the agency to ensure immediate and visible improvement in service delivery.
He expressed dissatisfaction over the frequent complaints highlighting delayed ambulance arrivals, particularly in remote areas, which have adversely affected the state's image.
