Ranchi, Aug. 30 -- The Ranchi District Rural Congress Committee today organised a 'Samvad Chaupal' at Sarjomdiha Maidan in Namkum, bringing together newly appointed Gram Panchayat office-bearers under the party's Organisation Creation Campaign.

State in-charge K. Raju urged active participation of Congress workers in every block to strengthen grassroots presence and asserted that this would help Rahul Gandhi emerge as the country's Prime Minister. He stressed on the holding of monthly meetings at Panchayat and block levels to address local issues and cited Andhra Pradesh's women-led organisational model as an example.
