Ranchi, Oct. 2 -- Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami today.
He participated as the chief guest at the grand Dussehra and Ravan Dahan programme organised by the Punjabi-Hindu Biradari Dussehra Committee, Morabadi, and Shri Durga Puja and Ravan Dahan Samiti, Argora, in Ranchi.
Conveying his wishes, the Chief Minister said that Dussehra is a festival symbolising India's rich culture and heritage.
"This festival gives us the eternal message of the triumph of good over evil. It always inspires society to move in the right direction," he said.
