Ranchi, Oct. 26 -- Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has taken serious cognizance of the incident in Chaibasa, where thalassemia-affected children were allegedly transfused with contaminated blood.
The Chief Minister has directed State Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari to conduct an immediate audit of all blood banks in the state within five days and submit a detailed report.
Soren stated on his social media handle, "The infection of thalassemia-affected children in Chaibasa is extremely painful.
