Ranchi, Feb. 26 -- To strengthen public healthcare infrastructure, the state government has initiated the process to install MRI machines in four districts and mammography units in 20 districts.
Preparations are also underway to establish Cath Labs in five medical colleges to enhance cardiac care services.
The decision was taken at a high-level review meeting of the Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department chaired by Ajay Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary.
He directed the Building Corporation to expedite the necessary procedures for the installation of MRI machines in Ramgarh, Giridih, Deoghar and Koderma districts.
