Ranchi, Feb. 11 -- The Jharkhand Legislative Assembly formally rolled out the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) on Wednesday, marking a significant move towards paperless legislative functioning.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the NeVA Seva Kendra and, along with Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato, distributed tablet computers to ministers and members of the House.

The programme, held at the Assembly's Conference Hall, began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Senior ministers, legislators and officials were present on the occasion.
