Ranchi, April 1 -- Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato has constituted 25 House committees for the year 2026-27, according to an official release issued by the Assembly Secretariat on Wednesday.
As per the notification, the Speaker will head the Rules Committee, Privileges Committee and Petition Committee, while chairpersons and members for the remaining committees have also been nominated.
Among the key appointments, Manoj Kumar Yadav has been named chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Hemlal Murmu of the Estimates Committee, Mangal Kalindi of the Public Undertakings Committee and Kalpana Murmu Soren of the Women and Child Development Committee.
