Ranchi, Jan. 30 -- The Jharkhand government is heading towards record revenue from liquor sales in the current financial year, with earnings expected to cross Rs 3,885 crore.

According to the Excise Department, liquor sales during the financial year 2025-26 are projected to generate more than Rs 3,885 crore in revenue for the state government. So far, the government has already achieved revenue exceeding Rs 3,400 crore, indicating a significant rise compared to previous years.
