Ranchi, Feb. 12 -- Budhachhattar Dham, situated in Raipura village, nearly four kilometres from Gola block in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district, has emerged as a prominent centre of spiritual faith and devotion.

The shrine is known for its round-shaped Shivling, where devotees gather daily to offer jalabhishek and prayers.

The most striking feature of the Dham is that the Shivling is installed under the open sky. According to local belief, earlier attempts to construct a temple structure over it failed, as the structure reportedly collapsed, reinforcing the belief that Lord Shiva did not accept enclosure. Since then, the Shivling has remained uncovered, adding to its mystical significance.
