Bokaro / Ramgarh, Feb. 7 -- A series of elephant attacks across Bokaro and Ramgarh districts have left four people dead, including two minors, and several others injured, triggering panic and fear among villagers.

In an incident in Ramgarh district, wild elephants trampled a grandfather and his grandson to death in the Mahuatand Gangpur area today.

Locals said a herd of five elephants suddenly entered the village and targeted a house, running amok through narrow lanes before retreating.
