Ramgarh, Dec. 19 -- The District Public Relations Office, Ramgarh, has issued an elephant alert following reports of a large herd of wild elephants splitting into several sub-groups and moving across different areas of the Ramgarh division.
According to official information, the current locations of the elephants have been identified as follows: Sirka area - seven elephants; Sugiya area - four elephants; Topa area - four elephants (yet to be confirmed); Ukharbeda area - eleven elephants; Chhatarmandu area - three elephants; and Gobardhaha area - one elephant (estimated). In addition, a group of elephants has reportedly moved towards Bokaro district.
