Ranchi, Oct. 14 -- The Jharkhand government today organised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) exchange and one-day state-level workshop here today to prepare a City Livelihood Action Plan (CLAP) for ten municipal corporations.
The events were organised by the Directorate of Municipal Administration under the Jharkhad Urban Development and Housing Department.
The civic bodies are Ranchi, Dhanbad, Deoghar, Medininagar, Mango, Adityapur, Giridih, Hazaribagh, Chas and Jamshedpur.
The plan aims to assess and strengthen livelihood opportunities for urban citizens, women, local artisans, youth, self-help groups (SHGs), and common interest groups (CIGs) across state's cities.
