Ahilyanagar, May 25 -- Jewellery worth Rs 2.5 crore, stolen from a businessman, was recovered by the local crime branch team of the police. However, the accused is still at large.

The accused's brother brought the jewellery from Rajasthan and handed it over to the police in Ahilyanagar.

District Superintendent of Police Somnath Gharge said the theft took place in Shirdi on May 13.

The accused has been identified Suresh Kumar Bhursingh Rajpurohit, a resident of Rajasthan, who is absconding.

His brother Ramesh Kumar Rajpurohit, who works in a cloth shop in Mumbai, brought the jewellery from Rajasthan and handed it over to the police here.
