Los Angeles, May 17 -- Jeremy Allen White will step into the shoes-and the soul-of Bruce Springsteen this autumn in 'Deliver Me From Nowhere', a biographical drama exploring the creation of the singer's seminal 1982 album 'Nebraska'. The film is set for theatrical release on October 24 this year, with 20th Century Studios backing the release, placing it in the thick of the awards season.

Directed and written by Scott Cooper, who is known for his work in projects such as 'Crazy Hearts', and 'Hostilities', the film adapts author Warren Zane's 2023 book of the same name, and charts Springsteen's decision to abandon stadium rock spectacle in favour of something raw, introspective and deeply personal, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
