Marrakech, Dec. 1 -- Jenna Ortega, the star of Tim Burton's Netflix sensation Wednesday, has made history at this year's Marrakech Film Festival by becoming its youngest-ever jury member, reported Deadline.

The 23-year-old actor joins an illustrious jury led by Cannes Palme d'Or and Oscar-winning Parasite director Bong Joon Ho.

Despite being the youngest among a panel of acclaimed filmmakers, Ortega said she feels no intimidation, only gratitude for the opportunity.

"I'm not intimidated because I think I'm so overwhelmed with gratitude. I think it would be a shame to come into this experience and be weighed down by some external pressure," Ortega said, as quoted by Deadline.

She added, "At the end of the day, we're all on the same team....
