Mumbai, Sept. 17 -- India's middle-order batter Rodrigues has been ruled out of the rest of the ODI series against Australia after being diagnosed with a viral fever.
The Women's Selection Committee has named batter Tejal Hasabnis as Rodrigues' replacement in the squad for the remaining two ODIs.
Hasabnis has an average of 46.66 in six ODIs.
The BCCI Medical Team will continue to monitor Rodrigues' recovery as the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 is less than two weeks away and the batter is expected to play a key role in India's campaign, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia today said in a statement.
Jemimah had a disappointing outing in the series opener defeat to Australia, scoring 18 off 26 as India went on to post 281/7 on the board.
