Shimla/Mohali, Sept. 3 -- A shocking case of kidnapping and murder linked to the Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has come to light with the arrest of three youths from Jammu and Kashmir by the Punjab Police.

The case pertains to the abduction and killing of taxi driver Anil Kumar, a resident of Nayagaon in district Mohali, originally hailing from Jogindernagar, Himachal Pradesh.

In the Himachal Pradesh Assembly, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday informed the House, in response to a matter raised by MLA Prakash Rana, that the Punjab Police in coordination with the DGPs of Punjab and Haryana had confirmed Anil Kumar's kidnapping and murder.
