Chandigarh, June 13 -- Haryana's Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij suspended Sanjay Kumar, junior engineer of the Ambala Industrial Area Sub-Division, for failing to replace a faulty transformer in Chandpura village of Ambala Cantonment even after 15 days.
Villagers from Chandpura had submitted a complaint to the Energy Minister about the problem, upon which he took swift action and directed the suspension of the JE.
The villagers alleged that the power transformer in Chandpura had been non-functional for several days, and they had lodged a complaint about it with JE Sanjay Kumar of Industrial Area, Ambala Cantonment, nearly 15 days ago.
