Mysuru, July 28 -- Members of the Janata Dal (Secular) staged a protest in Mysuru today, demanding an apology from MLC Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah over his controversial statement comparing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah with the late Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar. In a sharply worded statement, the JD(S) district unit condemned Dr Yathindra's remarks, stating that such a comparison was "historically inappropriate" and disregarded the unmatched legacy of the former Mysore ruler.
