Bengaluru, Oct. 5 -- A video allegedly showing children collecting data for Karnataka's ongoing socio-economic and caste survey has triggered a fresh political storm in Karnataka, with the Janata Dal (Secular) launching a scathing attack on the Congress government over the credibility of the exercise.
The JD(S), which shared the video on its official X account, claimed that minors were being used as enumerators in some areas, calling it a shocking breach of procedure. The party alleged that such lapses expose the "unscientific, unreliable and politically driven" nature of the Siddaramaiah government's survey.
