Panaji, Nov. 25 -- As part of the special section on Satyajit Ray at IFFI 53, Jaydip Mukherjee's
34-minute non-feature film "Other Ray: The Art of Satyajit Ray" was showcased in the Indian Panorama section on Thursday.
Interacting with media-persons and delegates at IFFI "Table Talks", Director Jaydeep Mukherjee
said this movie is a biographical documentary incorporating his own conception of Ray's genius.
The various shades of Ray's aesthetic genius - sketcher, calligrapher, music composer, director - have been covered holistically in the film, Mukhejee said.
