Lucknow, Nov. 8 -- In a significant political development, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati has begun a renewed effort to strengthen her party by bringing back influential former leaders. As part of this strategy, former senior BSP leader Jay Prakash Singh has rejoined the party, sources confirmed on Saturday.
Following his return, Mayawati appointed Singh as the party in-charge for Odisha and West Bengal.
