Mumbai, Feb. 28 -- Veteran screenwriter, lyricist and poet Javed Akhtar and actor turned BJP MP from Mandi, Kangana Ranaut, on Friday reached a settlement before a local court in Mumbai in the defamation cases they filed against each other.
The magistrate court disposed of the two cases they filed against each other in 2020.
Accompanied by their lawyers, Akhtar and Ranaut appeared before the local court and submitted their consent to settle the cases upon which court agreed and disposed off their pleas.
