Jaunpur, Jan. 14 -- A 28-year-old Doctor died in a tragic road accident after a Chinese kite string slit his throat while he was riding a motorcycle in Jaunpur on Wednesday. The accident took place around 12:30 pm near Prasad Chauraha in the Line Bazar police station area.
The victim, identified as Dr. Sameer Hashmi, a resident of Kerakat, was returning home when a sharp Chinese manjha got entangled around his neck. The string caused a deep cut, reportedly reaching the neck bone, leading to severe bleeding.
Dr. Hashmi fell on the road and was unable to move. Local people immediately informed emergency services and rushed him to the district hospital, where Doctors declared him dead. Police reached the spot and sent the body for post-morte...
