Chandigarh, March 24 -- After creating a national record at the Khelo India Para Games, Punjab powerlifter Jaspreet Kaur is now aiming for a medal at the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympics to emulate the feat of her coach Rajinder Singh Rahelu back in 2004.

"Now, I want to win a medal for India in the Los Angeles Paralympics in 2028 and make headlines, just like my coach Rajinder Sir did back in the 2004 Athens Paralympics where he won the bronze in para powerlifting," she said, eyes set on the ultimate goal.
