Belagavi, Oct. 7 -- Karnataka minister Satish Jarkiholi today said there is confusion within the ruling Congress over a potential chief minister change and urged the party leadership to resolve it.
He said while some uncertainty remains, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has clarified that he will continue in office for the next two-and-a-half years, which has eased some concerns. Jarkiholi said the party high command must ultimately address any remaining confusion.
On the cabinet reshuffle, he said a request will be made to CM Siddaramaiah to allocate the two vacant ministerial posts to representatives of the Valmiki community. The demand will be emphasised during the ongoing Valmiki Jayanti celebrations.
