Japanese delegation meets ISRO Chief, discusss about Chandrayaan-5/LuPEX mission

Chennai, Nov. 24 -- A Japanese delegation visited ISRO Headquarters atBengaluru and discussed with ISRO Chairman Dr V Narayanan about the statusof the Chandrayaan-5/LuPEX mission.

ISRO in a release today said ISRO-JAXA is the Joint Lunar Polar ExplorationMission (Chandrayaan-5/LuPEX).

The delegation was headed by Dr. Saku Tsuneta, Vice-Chair of Japan's CabinetCommittee on National Space Policy .

Apart discussing the present tatus of ISRO-JAXA ongoing Chandrayaan-5/ LuPEXmission, they also discussed about potential opportunities to work together inrobotic arm for space station; launching of scientific satellites; and in supportingresearchers and private companies from both nations for joint activities.
