Chennai, March 11 -- Japan's Electrical and Electronic connectors maker Hirose Electric Group on Wednesday signeda Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) committing an investment of Rs 100 to set up its facility in Chennai.
At an event got up by the Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce Department, the Japanese company signed the MoU in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Miister M K Stalin at the State Secretariat in the presence of Industries Minister TRB Raaja, senior government and top company officials.
The new facility to come up at Poonamallee in adjoining Tiruvallur district, would provide jobs to 100 people.
