Bhubaneswar, Oct. 15 -- An eight-member delegation from the Federal Government of Japan held discussions with the Odisha government on potential collaboration in smart agricultural technology, irrigation, water management, and wastewater treatment.

The delegation met Odisha's Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary, Anu Garg, in Bhubaneswar.

Senior officials from Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), including Akifumi Sumizu, Director of the Commerce and Logistics Division, and Ryosuke Yamaguchi, Director of the Resident Trade Support Division, attended the meeting along with other representatives from Japan's trade and industry sectors.
