Udhampur, Dec. 22 -- Security forces on Monday launched a large-scale search operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district after suspected terrorists were spotted in the forested area of Majalta, officials said.
A joint team of police and paramilitary forces is conducting searches in Chore Motu village and adjoining forest areas in Majalta. The operation was initiated following specific intelligence inputs.
According to officials, two unidentified terrorists reportedly visited the house of a local resident, Mangtu Ram, at Chore Motu village around 6.30 pm and took food before fleeing towards the forest.
