J&K: Police conducts raids on banned separatist groups in several Kashmir districts
Srinagar, March 25 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police intensified its crackdown on banned separatist organizations on Tuesday, conducting raids in multiple districts of Kashmir as part of ongoing action against separatist elements.
Officials said the raids were conducted in Kupwara, Handwara and Sopore.
Police conducted multiple raids across the border district of Kupwara, targeting individuals associated with proscribed outfits such as Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Muslim League and Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party.
Early morning raids were conducted at village Kralpora, Khurhama, main town Kupwara and Trussu Dragmulla, police said.
