Jammu, Sept. 11 -- Panic was triggered when a low-intensity blast was reported in the Doda town of Jammu and Kashmir.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range, Shridhar Patil, said in a post on X, "A low-intensity blast was reported from Thukar Mohalla of Doda town. No injuries reported."He further added that police and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) teams are on the job to ascertain details.
However, prohibitory orders remain in force in Doda district to maintain law and order after protests broke out following the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Mehraj Malik under the Public Safety Act (PSA).
