Jammu, Aug. 11 -- The army jawan today died in an alleged accidental fire in Bhaderwah belt of the Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police sources said that an army jawan identified as Suresh Bishwal died when his service weapon accidentally went off in his unit in the Bhaderwah area.
"The body was shifted to the hospital for postmortem, while a cognisance has been taken and an investigation is in progress," they said.
