Jammu, June 13 -- Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau on Friday trapped and arrested a revenue official in a bribery case in Poonch district.
The official spokesman here said that the ACB received a complaint where it was alleged that the complainant was in need of a revenue record, i.e., attested copies of the Khasra Girdwari of his land situated in Village Dhara, for which he had already applied via online mode on April 26, 2025, but Patwari Mohammad Jameel was demanding a bribe for providing the attested copies of the same.
Since the complainant didn't want to pay a bribe, he approached the Anti-Corruption Bureau to take legal action against the accused public servants under the law, he said.
