Srinagar, Dec. 6 -- With less than 24 hours to go for the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination (JKCCE), the Jammu & Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) on Saturday appealed to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to defer the exam by one week.

The appeal was made on behalf of thousands of JKAS and CCE aspirants who are currently facing an unprecedented crisis; one entirely beyond their control.

A statement issued by the JKSA said hundreds of aspirants are stranded across multiple cities due to continued uncertainty over age relaxation and the status of the examination.
