Jammu, Sept. 2 -- In a major blow to cross border drone dropping activity, Jammu and Kashmir Police today arrested four persons from J&K and Punjab, who were running this syndicate.
Official spokesman said that under guidance of SSP Kathua, Shobhit Saxena, police on Sept 29, information was received regarding a narcotic packet being dropped in village Chhan Tanda, Hiranagar near International Border.
He said that on swift response by Police and BSF, approximately. 447 grams of opium was recovered following which a case was registered at Police Station Hiranagar and investigation was started.
