Srinagar, Dec. 18 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said it had secured the conviction of an accused in a 2020 terror case registered in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
The convicted accused was identified as Zamir Sadiq Lone, a resident of Tiken Batpora, who was arrested on November 1, 2021. Police said Lone confessed to his involvement before the court through video conferencing.
The case also involved three other accused terrorists who were earlier eliminated in separate security operations.
The court sentenced the convict to four years and four months of imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000.
