Srinagar, Jan. 21 -- To strengthen tourist safety during the winter season at the hill resort of Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday directed tourism stakeholders to maintain proper records of all guests, ensure round-the-clock safety and security of tourists, strictly prohibit the use of drones in restricted or sensitive areas, and refrain from taking visitors to unsafe or off-limits locations.
The directions were issued during a coordination meeting chaired by Senior Superintendent of Police Anantnag Amritpal Singh at Pahalgam, which was attended by hotel owners, taxi and pony operators, ATV bikers and other tourism stakeholders, with a focus on strengthening tourist safety during the winter season.
