Srinagar, April 25 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday intensified its anti-narcotics drive across the Valley under the ongoing 'Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan', attaching properties worth Rs 3.5 crore, arresting multiple drug peddlers, destroying illicit poppy cultivation, and stepping up awareness and enforcement measures.

In Srinagar, police attached two immovable properties worth over Rs 3.5 crore linked to alleged narcotics smugglers. The attachment was carried out by Police Station Sangam under provisions of the NDPS Act, targeted assets identified as proceeds of drug trafficking, including two double-storey residential houses with land in Noorbagh.
