Srinagar, April 15 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police, in a major action against drug trafficking and its financial networks, on Wednesday frozen four residential properties under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act in the Anantnag district.

The properties are linked to individuals allegedly involved in illicit narcotics trade in the district.

As per the handout, the individuals whose properties have been frozen are identified as Rayees Ahmed Dar, Sabzar Ahmad Dar, Mudasir Ahmed Dar and Zahid Ahmad Dar, all residents of Tulkhan, Bijbehara.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that these properties were acquired through proceeds generated from illegal narcotics activities, it read.
