Srinagar, Oct. 9 -- Continuing its intensified crackdown on the separatist-terror ecosystem, Jammu and Kashmir Police today carried out a search operation at the residence of an individual allegedly associated with the proscribed organisation Jamaat-e-Islami in the Sopore sub-district of north Kashmir.
The operation was conducted at the residence of Ghulam Hassan Lone, a resident of Zaloora, Sopore, in connection with a case registered in 2025 under relevant sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
Police confirmed that the search was conducted following a valid search warrant issued by the competent Court of Law.
