Jammu, March 5 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday booked one Over Ground Worker (OGW) under Public Safety Act (PSA) in Ramban District.
Police spokesman said that a strong action has been taken against an OGW namely Manzoor Ahmed alias Furqan, resident of Dalwah, Tehsil Gool, District Ramban under the Public Safety Act (PSA).
He was involved in anti-national and anti-social activities in Gool and surrounding areas, he said.
He added that the necessary sanction was obtained under Section 8 of the PSA 1978.
Arrested OGW was absconding and evading his arrest and avoiding the execution of PSA warrant, said the spokesman adding that a special police team was constituted and the team by making the best possible efforts executed the PSA...
