Jammu, Sept. 7 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police today bid adieu to Special Police Officer (SPO) was biried under landslides and struck by shooting stones resulting in his on-the-spot demise.
The tragic incedent occured at Luroo in Ramban district on Saturday.
Official spokesman here said that yesterday, SPO Sanatar Singh of Police Post Luroo, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramsoo, tragically lost his life while on duty.
The last rites of the brave SPO were performed today with full honors, acknowledging his supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
A Guard of Honour was presented by the District Police Ramban.
