Jammu, April 28 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday arrested two persons in a reported sacrilegious act in Reasi district.
Police said that acting promptly over a reported sacrilegious act in Dharmari area involving alleged beef, police party headed by Station House Officer under the supervision of SDPO Arnas arrested two accused namely Mohd Rafiq and Mohd Lateef.
A case has been registered against the culprits, said police adding that the meat has been sent to the Forensic Lab Jammu for analysis.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Reasi, Paramvir Singh assured that action under law shall be taken against mischief mongers responsible for this act.
