Srinagar, Feb. 23 -- Police have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substances from their possession in Jammu and Kashmir's Bdugam district.

Police on Sunday said that continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, Police at a checkpoint established at Kremshora near Graveyard intercepted a suspicious person who tried to flee from the spot, but was tactfully apprehended by the police party.

During the search, 3 sticks of Charas-like substance wrapped in corn husk weighing about 69.28 grams were recovered from his possession.
